MIXING
Turn your multitracks or stems into a balanced, detailed and emotionally effective mix.
The aim is to preserve the intention and character of the performance while improving clarity, impact, depth and translation across different listening systems. Every mix is shaped around the music rather than a preset formula.
MASTERING
Give your approved mix its final tonal, dynamic and technical refinement.
Mastering ensures that your music translates confidently between listening systems and is prepared correctly for the formats you intend to release. For EPs and albums, it also creates consistency and cohesion across the complete project.
MIXING + MASTERING
Keep the complete finishing process consistent from the first mix through to final delivery.
Booking mixing and mastering together allows each stage to work towards the same creative and technical goal. A modest combined-service reduction is normally reflected in the quotation.

High-quality masters prepared for digital distribution and streaming platforms, in accordance with the requirements of your chosen distributor.
CD
CD master WAV files and a DDP image prepared for delivery to your chosen CD manufacturer.
BAY Custom Studios supplies the finished master files and DDP image but does not manufacture or press CDs.
VINYL
Vinyl-ready master WAV files prepared for delivery to your cutting engineer or pressing plant.
BAY Custom Studios supplies the prepared vinyl master files but does not cut lacquers or manufacture records.
MULTIPLE FORMATS
If your project will be released digitally and on physical formats, each required version can be prepared as part of the same quotation.

1. TELL US ABOUT YOUR PROJECT
Send the project details, including the service you require, number of tracks, musical direction, intended release formats and preferred deadline.
2. RECEIVE A BESPOKE QUOTATION
We will review the information, ask any necessary questions and provide a quotation with a realistic project schedule.
3. SEND YOUR MUSIC AND CREATIVE NOTES
Once the project is confirmed, you will receive instructions for supplying the recordings, approved mixes, reference tracks and any creative notes.
4. REVIEW AND COLLABORATE
Listen to the first version and provide clear feedback. We will work collaboratively through reasonable revisions to reach the approved result.
5. RECEIVE YOUR FINAL MASTERS
Once approved, the final files will be prepared and delivered in the formats agreed for your release.

Single-track mastering can often be completed within one working day. An initial mix may sometimes be available from two working days, depending on the project and current studio availability.
These are typical starting points rather than universal guarantees. Your quotation will include a realistic schedule based on the project, feedback process and expected revisions.
A collaborative revision process is included, with the scope agreed as part of the quotation.
